This February follows one of the mildest Januarys in a long time.  A collective sigh of relief escapes us as we realize we can just start to see Spring in the distance.  Any snow, blizzards or ice won’t last long now that we’re on the downhill side of Winter.  Life is like that sometimes – after we’ve been through a tough time or what could have been an even worse time, a reprieve is much appreciated.  As we revel in this month of love and valentines, caring and leaning toward Spring, may we be reminded of God’s love for us, His children.  He never gives us more than we can handle through Him.  It’s when we try to make it on our own that we slosh through the snow banks of life and get caught in Winter.  May we thank Him for His love, His mercy and His life in our lives.  No one loves you like the Lord!
